Kindred Healthcare is seeking a Special Procedures Nurse to join our team within our Interventional Radiology department.   1. Provide high-quality care to patients undergoing various procedures within the Interventional Radiology department.
  2. Utilize specialized nursing skills to assess, monitor, and manage patient care during procedures.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  6. Monitor patients for any changes in condition and report to the appropriate healthcare providers.
  7. Educate patients and their families about procedures, treatments, and post-procedure care.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain knowledge of best practices in Interventional Radiology.
  10. Stay updated on advancements in technology and techniques related to Interventional Radiology.
  11. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during procedures.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
  14. Attend departmental meetings and trainings as required.
  15. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

Job Qualifications
  • A Valid Rn License In The State Of Practice With At Least 2 Years Of Experience As A Registered Nurse In A Hospital Setting.

  • Specialized Training And Certification In Interventional Radiology Procedures.

  • Knowledge And Experience With Advanced Imaging Technologies And Equipment Used In Interventional Radiology.

  • Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills To Anticipate And Respond To Potential Complications During Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients And Their Families.
