Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated RN to join our team and provide quality care to our patients. The Registered Nurse, RN will be responsible for providing care and support to patients in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to patient safety, and a desire to learn and grow in the role.Required Qualifications: • Current RN license in good standing • At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Knowledge of medical terminology • Ability to work well with patients, families, and medical staff • Ability to multi-task and prioritize • Strong organizational and time management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations • Working knowledge of medical software and electronic medical records (EMR) • Strong attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Flexibility to work different shifts • Commitment to continuing education and professional development

Responsibilities:

  1. Administer patient care according to established standards, policies, and procedures.
  2. Monitor and assess patient health and administer medications as needed.
  3. Educate patients and families on health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment options.
  4. Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  5. Document patient care activities in an accurate and timely manner.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  7. Collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
  8. Participate in continuing education programs to maintain licensure and stay current with changes in the medical field.
  9. Assist in training other nursing staff and delegate tasks as needed.
  10. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary.
