  2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  3. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the surgical team.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
  6. Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-operative care.
  7. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Candidate For The Registered Nurse - Operating Room Position At Kindred Healthcare Should Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution. This Degree Provides A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory And Practice, Which Is Essential For Success In The Operating Room.

  • Active Rn License: The Candidate Must Hold A Current, Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Where The Kindred Healthcare Facility Is Located. This License Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The State's Requirements For Education And Competency In Nursing.

  • Operating Room Experience: Kindred Healthcare Is Seeking Candidates With A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In An Operating Room Setting. This Experience Should Include A Variety Of Surgical Procedures And The Use Of Specialized Equipment And Technology.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: The Candidate Should Hold Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications. These Certifications Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Provide Emergency Care And Handle Critical Situations In The Operating Room.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: In Addition To Technical Skills, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills. The Operating Room Is A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment, And Effective Communication And Collaboration Are Essential For Providing Safe And Efficient Patient Care.
