- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients and their families.
- Utilize strong clinical skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Follow all policies and procedures of Kindred Healthcare.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
- Attend and participate in team meetings and conferences as required.
- Serve as a role model for other staff members, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and professionalism.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
- Continuously strive to improve the quality of care for our patients.
Bls Certification
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher
Current Rn License In The State Of Employment
