  1. Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients based on their individual needs and medical conditions.
  2. Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients' nutritional status and make recommendations for dietary changes or supplements as needed.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure patients' nutritional needs are being met.
  4. Provide education and support to patients and their families on proper nutrition and its impact on overall health.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patients' nutrition plans and progress.
  6. Monitor patients' food intake and make adjustments to their nutrition plans as needed.
  7. Stay current with industry research and updates in nutrition and apply new knowledge to patient care.
  8. Advocate for patients' nutritional needs and work to improve their overall well-being.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  10. Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to nutrition and patient care.
  11. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Maintain a positive, compassionate, and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve nutrition services at Kindred Healthcare.
  14. Foster a safe and welcoming environment for patients and their families.
  15. Handle any patient concerns or complaints related to nutrition services in a timely and professional manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Dietetics Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Current Registration As A Registered Dietitian With The Commission On Dietetic Registration.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Clinical Nutrition Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medical Nutrition Therapy, Enteral And Parenteral Nutrition, And Diet-Related Disease Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Counsel Patients And Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Healthcare Team.
