OR Scheduler

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented OR Scheduler to join Kindred Healthcare’s OR Team. The ideal candidate will be patient, organized, and passionate about providing exceptional patient care. The successful OR Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling of surgeries, confirming insurance, and performing pre-registration. The OR Scheduler must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.To be successful in this role, the OR Scheduler must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of three years of scheduling experience, and a thorough understanding of medical terminology. The OR Scheduler should also have excellent communication and customer service skills. Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate the scheduling of surgeries for patients.
2. Confirm insurance and perform pre-registration for patients.
3. Maintain accurate records of patient information and scheduling.
4. Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
