Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and knowledgeable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Kindred Healthcare team as Nursing Supervisor. This full-time position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the nursing staff, overseeing the delivery of patient care, and promoting the highest standards of quality care.The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in nursing and a desire to improve patient outcomes. They will have a proven track record of success in managing a team and working with other departments. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to make decisions under pressure, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.The ideal candidate will have a current RN license, a BSN or higher degree in nursing, a minimum of two years of experience in healthcare management, and a valid CPR certification.If you possess these qualifications and are ready to take on this important role, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing staff and oversee the delivery of patient care.
  2. Maintain and promote the highest standards of quality care.
  3. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes.
  5. Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  6. Communicate effectively with other departments and healthcare professionals.
  7. Make decisions under pressure and in difficult situations.
  8. Provide support, guidance, and supervision to nursing staff.
  9. Monitor patient progress and document care plans.
  10. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
  11. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in working order.
  12. Respond to emergency situations in a timely and professional manner.

Job Qualifications

Compensation
