
Non-Certified Surgical Technician (PRN)

- Assist with surgical procedures: The primary responsibility of the Non-Certified Surgical Technician will be to assist with various surgical procedures, including preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and passing instruments to the surgeon.
- Provide high-quality care: The Surgical Technician will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during procedures by properly positioning them, monitoring vital signs, and providing support as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment: The Surgical Technician will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized operating room, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly sterilized and ready for use.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: The Non-Certified Surgical Technician will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Follow safety protocols: It is the responsibility of the Surgical Technician to follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of infection and ensure the safety of patients and staff.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Non-Certified Surgical Technician At Kindred Healthcare Would Need To Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Educational Qualification.
Previous Experience In A Surgical Setting: Although Not Required To Be Certified, The Ideal Candidate Should Have Some Previous Experience In A Surgical Setting, Either Through Internships, Externships, Or On-The-Job Training.
Knowledge Of Surgical Instruments And Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Surgical Instruments And Procedures, As Well As The Ability To Assist The Surgical Team During Procedures.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Non-Certified Surgical Technician, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With The Surgical Team, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment: Surgical Procedures Can Be Fast-Paced And High-Stress, And The Candidate Should Be Able To Handle The Pressure And Maintain Composure During These Situations.
