Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a NIGHTS - ICU/HAU RN. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in our Intensive Care Unit and High Acuity Unit, providing critical care to patients in their most vulnerable moments.   1. Provide compassionate and quality care to patients in accordance with the mission of Kindred Healthcare.
  2. Work as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit and High Acuity Unit, providing critical care to patients.
  3. Utilize strong clinical skills to assess, monitor, and treat patients in their most vulnerable moments.
  4. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  5. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following established protocols and standards.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care in accordance with regulatory standards.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  8. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and preferences are considered in their care.
  9. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Participate in continuous education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  11. Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
  12. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  13. Serve as a role model for other healthcare team members by demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and dedication to patient care.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with patients and their families.
  15. Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the unit.
