  1. Maintain accurate and organized inventory records of all materials and supplies within the healthcare facility.
  2. Monitor and track supplies to ensure appropriate levels are maintained and orders are placed in a timely manner.
  3. Collaborate with various departments to determine their supply needs and provide assistance in sourcing and procuring materials.
  4. Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, place orders, and resolve any issues related to materials.
  5. Receive, inspect, and store all incoming materials, ensuring proper documentation and storage protocols are followed.
  6. Perform regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and take corrective action as needed.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to materials management.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized supply room, ensuring proper storage and handling of all materials.
  9. Update and maintain electronic inventory systems and databases.
  10. Provide training and support to staff on proper materials management procedures and protocols.
  11. Participate in cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities to improve efficiency in materials management processes.
  12. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols when handling materials.
  13. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in materials management practices.
  14. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices for materials.
  15. Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by the Materials Management Supervisor or other management personnel.
