Job Description

As a Materials Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facility is well-stocked with essential supplies and equipment. This is a PRN (as needed) position, offering flexible scheduling options. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.   1. Maintain inventory levels: Ensure that all essential supplies and equipment are adequately stocked and available for patient care.
  2. Monitor supply usage: Track and monitor the usage of supplies and equipment to determine when reordering is necessary.
  3. Place orders: Place orders for supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring timely delivery.
  4. Receive and store supplies: Receive and store supplies and equipment in designated areas, following proper storage and labeling procedures.
  5. Organize supply rooms: Keep supply rooms organized and free of clutter, ensuring easy access to supplies and equipment.
  6. Check for expired items: Regularly check for expired items and remove them from inventory to maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  7. Collaborate with other departments: Work closely with other departments to identify their supply needs and ensure timely delivery of requested items.
  8. Maintain accurate records: Keep accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and deliveries to ensure efficient and effective supply management.
  9. Assist with budget management: Provide support in managing the department's budget by tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  10. Follow safety protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  11. Train new employees: Assist in training new employees on supply management procedures and policies.
  12. Communicate effectively: Maintain open and effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  13. Adhere to company policies: Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to inventory control and purchasing, to ensure compliance and maintain consistency.
  14. Work independently: Perform job duties independently, using critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve any issues that may arise.
  15. Uphold quality standards: Maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of the job, including supply management and communication.

Job Qualifications
