  1. Provide direct patient care according to established protocols and standards.
  2. Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Lvn License: The Primary Qualification For An Lvn Job At Kindred Healthcare Is A Valid License To Practice As A Licensed Vocational Nurse In The State Where The Facility Is Located.

  • Completion Of A Vocational Nursing Program: Candidates For An Lvn Position At Kindred Healthcare Must Have Completed An Accredited Vocational Nursing Program And Have A Diploma Or Certificate To Prove It.

  • Basic Life Support Certification: Lvns At Kindred Healthcare Are Responsible For Providing Basic Life Support To Patients, So A Current Certification In Bls From The American Heart Association Or The American Red Cross Is Required.

  • Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting: While Not Always Required, Previous Work Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital, Nursing Home, Or Clinic, Is Highly Desirable For An Lvn Position At Kindred Healthcare.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Key Member Of The Healthcare Team, An Lvn At Kindred Healthcare Must Have Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals And Provide Quality Care To Patients.
