In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the clinical activities of our LPN staff, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.   1. Overseeing and coordinating the clinical activities of the LPN staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality and compassionate care to patients.
  2. Implementing and monitoring clinical protocols and procedures to maintain consistency and high standards of care.
  3. Providing guidance and support to LPN staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  4. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  5. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  6. Identifying and addressing any issues or concerns related to patient care and staff performance.
  7. Managing and maintaining inventory of medical supplies, equipment, and medications to ensure adequate availability for patient care.
  8. Serving as a liaison between the LPN staff and other departments within the organization to facilitate effective communication and teamwork.
  9. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and implementing changes to enhance the quality of care provided.
  10. Staying up-to-date with current trends and developments in nursing and healthcare to continuously improve clinical practices and procedures.
  11. Upholding and promoting the values and mission of Kindred Healthcare through daily interactions with patients, families, and staff.
  12. Maintaining a positive and professional work environment, fostering team collaboration and promoting a culture of excellence.
  13. Assisting with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining records, as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Lpn License: A Lpn Clinical Coordinator At Kindred Healthcare Must Possess A Current And Valid Lpn License In The State In Which They Will Be Working. This Ensures That They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform The Duties Of The Role.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience: To Be Considered For The Role, Candidates Must Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Lpn In A Clinical Setting. This Experience Allows Them To Understand The Demands Of The Role And Effectively Coordinate And Supervise Clinical Activities.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Lpn Clinical Coordinator Must Possess Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Nurses And Other Healthcare Professionals. They Must Be Able To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Support, And Make Difficult Decisions When Necessary.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial For A Lpn Clinical Coordinator As They Will Be Working With Various Stakeholders, Including Patients, Families, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. They Must Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Effectively To Ensure That All Parties Are On The Same Page.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: Kindred Healthcare Is Committed To Providing High-Quality Care That Meets All Regulatory Requirements. As Such, A Lpn Clinical Coordinator Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Nursing Practice. This Includes Knowledge Of Documentation, Medication Administration, And Infection Control Protocols.
