
Inventory Specialist - PRN

- Maintain accurate inventory records: The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for regularly updating and maintaining accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, monitoring usage, and recording any discrepancies.
- Ensure timely delivery of supplies: It will be the responsibility of the Inventory Specialist to ensure that all supplies are delivered to the appropriate departments within the facility in a timely manner. This may involve coordinating with suppliers and other team members to ensure efficient delivery.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders: The ideal candidate will regularly monitor stock levels and place orders for supplies as needed to ensure that the facility has an adequate supply of necessary items.
- Conduct regular inventory audits: The Inventory Specialist will conduct regular audits of inventory to identify any discrepancies or issues and take appropriate action to resolve them.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas: The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining inventory storage areas to ensure efficient and accurate retrieval of supplies when needed.
- Collaborate with other departments: The Inventory Specialist will work closely with other departments within the facility to understand their inventory needs and assist in managing their supply levels.
- Ensure compliance with inventory management procedures: It will be the responsibility of the Inventory Specialist to ensure that all inventory management procedures and protocols are followed, including proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Train and support staff: The Inventory Specialist may be responsible for training and supporting other staff members in inventory management procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across the facility.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities: The successful candidate will be expected to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in inventory management, such as negotiating better prices with suppliers or optimizing stock levels.

- Other duties as assigned: The Inventory Specialist may be assigned additional responsibilities as needed to support the smooth operation of the facility.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Inventory Management Or Related Field.
Knowledge Of Inventory Control Systems And Processes.
