  1. Provide quality and compassionate care to patients in the ICU and HAU units.
  2. Utilize specialized skills and knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  3. Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment effectiveness.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and medications.
  6. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
  7. Respond to and manage emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure confidentiality.
  9. Adhere to infection control and safety measures to prevent the spread of infections.
  10. Participate in continuing education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
  11. Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients, their families, and fellow healthcare team members.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  14. Comply with all hospital policies and procedures.
  15. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and contribute to the improvement of processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Nursing License: Candidates Must Hold A Current And Valid Nursing License In The State Where The Icu/Hau Unit Is Located. This Ensures That They Have Met All Necessary Education And Training Requirements To Practice As A Registered Nurse.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Critical Care Experience: Due To The High Acuity And Complex Nature Of Patients In The Icu/Hau, Candidates Must Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Critical Care Setting. This Ensures They Have The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Manage Critically Ill Patients.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Required To Work In The Icu/Hau. These Certifications Demonstrate That The Candidate Is Trained In Life-Saving Techniques And Can Respond Quickly In Emergency Situations.

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn): While Not Always Required, Having A Bsn Is Preferred For Icu/Hau Nurses. This Degree Provides A More Comprehensive Education And Prepares Nurses To Take On Leadership Roles Within The Unit.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: The Icu/Hau Is A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment, So Nurses Must Possess Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills. They Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Family Members, And Other Healthcare Team Members, As Well As Think Quickly And Make Sound Decisions In High-Pressure Situations.
