Exercise Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Exercise Specialist to join our team at Kindred Healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exercise instruction and consultation to the members of our rehabilitation team, as well as to our patients and their families. Additionally, you should have at least two years of experience in the field of physical therapy, rehabilitation, exercise, or a related field. You should be a patient and attentive listener, with excellent communication skills and an ability to effectively collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team. Above all, you should demonstrate a commitment to providing superior customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide exercise instruction and consultation to the members of the rehabilitation team, patients, and their families.
2. Develop and implement individualized exercise plans for patients.
3. Monitor and assess patient progress in order to modify exercise plans as needed.
4. Collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team, such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, and physicians.
5. Educate patients and their families on safe and effective exercise programs.
6. Maintain patient records and documentation.
7. Ensure that all exercise programs are conducted in accordance with safety standards.
8. Maintain current knowledge of exercise science and related fields.
9. Demonstrate commitment to providing superior customer service.
