- Assist in providing nutritious and delicious meals to patients and residents.
- Ensure meals are prepared according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.
- Monitor and record food and beverage intake of patients and residents.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement meal plans.
- Handle and store food in a safe and hygienic manner.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of food supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, residents, and team members regarding meal options and dietary needs.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for patients and residents.
- Assist with special dietary requests and accommodations.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
- Act as a positive representative of the organization and uphold its values and mission.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and resident information.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the dietary program.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability.
- Flexibility to work PRN (as needed) shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
