  1. Prepare and serve meals to patients according to their dietary needs and preferences.
  2. Ensure that all meals meet the required nutritional standards and are presented in an appetizing manner.
  3. Monitor and record patient food intake and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  4. Assist patients with special dietary needs, such as allergies or restricted diets.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to address any dietary concerns or requests.
  7. Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and prepare menus that meet the nutritional needs of patients.
  8. Monitor and track inventory of food and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
  9. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and courteously.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and privacy guidelines.
  11. Continuously strive to improve the quality and presentation of meals, seeking feedback from patients and incorporating suggestions when possible.
  12. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on dietary guidelines, menus, and procedures.
  13. Follow all safety protocols and report any potential hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients, families, and coworkers, promoting a supportive and caring environment.
  15. Other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or other supervisory personnel.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Dietary Aide In A Long-Term Care Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Proper Food Handling And Sanitation Practices.

  • Ability To Work Flexible Hours, Including Weekends And Holidays.

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
