
Computer Tomography Technologist

In this role, you will play a vital role in our diagnostic imaging department, using your expertise in CT technology to provide accurate and detailed images for our patients. - Perform diagnostic CT scans on patients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Operate CT equipment and ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality images and patient care.
- Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear explanations and addressing any concerns.
- Monitor and assess patient's condition during procedures and report any abnormalities or adverse reactions.
- Stay informed and up-to-date on new developments and techniques in CT technology.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations.
- Act as a resource and mentor for other technologists and students.
- Attend and participate in departmental meetings and trainings.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Proficient In Operating And Maintaining Ct Equipment, Including Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Protocols.
Certified And Licensed In Radiologic Technology By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Performing Computer Tomography Procedures.
Ability To Accurately Interpret Medical Orders And Patient Information To Determine Appropriate Scanning Parameters.
Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Explain Procedures And Address Any Concerns Or Questions From Patients.
