  1. Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to promote Kindred Healthcare's services.
  2. Serve as a representative for Kindred Healthcare to potential patients and their families.
  3. Educate healthcare providers on the services and benefits offered by Kindred Healthcare.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare providers to identify potential patients in need of Kindred Healthcare's services.
  5. Conduct thorough assessments of potential patients to determine their eligibility for Kindred Healthcare's services.
  6. Coordinate with healthcare providers and internal teams to ensure a smooth transfer and admission process for patients.
  7. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide updates and address any concerns.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of interactions with healthcare providers and patients.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations to effectively promote Kindred Healthcare's services.
  10. Participate in team meetings and provide input on strategies to increase referrals and admissions.
  11. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement effective outreach strategies.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families throughout the admission process.
  13. Represent Kindred Healthcare in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  14. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  15. Continuously strive to improve and enhance relationships with healthcare providers and patients to increase referrals and admissions.

Job Qualifications
  • Relevant Education And Experience: A Clinical Liaison At Kindred Healthcare Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In A Healthcare-Related Field Such As Nursing, Social Work, Or Healthcare Administration. In Addition, They Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Skilled Nursing Facility.

  • Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills: As A Clinical Liaison, One Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate And Build Relationships With A Variety Of Healthcare Professionals Including Physicians, Case Managers, And Discharge Planners. Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry And Regulations: A Clinical Liaison Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry, Including Medicare And Medicaid Regulations, Insurance Coverage, And Reimbursement Policies. They Should Also Have Knowledge Of Clinical Processes And Protocols Related To Patient Care And Discharge Planning.

  • Sales And Marketing Skills: A Key Responsibility Of A Clinical Liaison Is To Promote Kindred Healthcare Services To Potential Referral Sources. This Requires Strong Sales And Marketing Skills, Including The Ability To Identify And Target Potential Referral Sources, Develop Sales Strategies, And Deliver Effective Presentations.

  • Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team: A Successful Clinical Liaison At Kindred Healthcare Must Be Able To Work Independently And Manage Their Time Effectively. They Should Also Possess Strong Teamwork Skills, As They Will Collaborate With Various Departments Within The Organization To Ensure The Best Possible Patient Outcomes.
