  • Provide compassionate and attentive care to patients in the Interventional Radiology Clinic
  • Assist medical staff with procedures and treatments, including preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies
  • Record and maintain accurate patient information, including vital signs, medical history, and any changes in condition
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical team to ensure quality care and understanding of treatment plans
  • Uphold high standards of infection control and safety protocols
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment
  • Follow HIPAA and other confidentiality guidelines to protect patient privacy
  • Monitor and replenish clinic inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings to stay informed and up-to-date on best practices and procedures
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude and demeanor with patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Medical Assistant Program: A Candidate For This Position Should Have Completed A Recognized Medical Assistant Program, Which Includes Training In Both Administrative And Clinical Skills.

  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Credential: Preferably, The Candidate Should Hold A Valid Cma Credential From Either The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).

  • Experience In Interventional Radiology: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working In An Interventional Radiology Clinic, With A Good Understanding Of Procedures And Equipment Used In This Specialty.

  • Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Records (Emrs): The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using Emrs And Other Computer Systems To Manage Patient Records, Schedule Appointments, And Record Vital Signs And Medical History.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Clinic Medical Assistant, The Candidate Will Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Providing Quality Care And Maintaining A Positive Work Environment.
