- Provide specialized wound care to patients, following established protocols and procedures.
- Monitor and assess wound healing progress, report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive wound care plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of wound assessments, treatments, and progress.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, while also providing wound care.
- Educate patients and their families on proper wound care techniques and prevention of future wounds.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during wound care procedures.
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of infection.

- Continuously update knowledge and skills in wound care through training and education opportunities.

Current Cna Certification: Candidates For A Certified Nursing Assistant Wound Care Position At Kindred Healthcare Should Hold A Valid Certification As A Nursing Assistant In Their State Of Practice. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Received The Necessary Training And Has Met The Minimum Competency Standards For Providing Patient Care.
Wound Care Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Wound Care Is Required For This Position.
