  1. Provide hands-on care and assistance to patients, including but not limited to, bathing, dressing, feeding, and grooming.
  2. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
  3. Assist with mobility and range of motion exercises as directed by the nursing staff.
  4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including changing linens, emptying bedpans, and restocking supplies.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure a positive and comfortable experience for all.
  6. Follow all established protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documenting care provided and any observations made.
  8. Act as an advocate for patients' rights and needs, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect at all times.
  9. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans for patients.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth to improve skills and knowledge in the field of nursing assistance.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A State-Approved Cna Training Program: Kindred Healthcare Requires All Cnas To Have Completed A State-Approved Training Program To Ensure They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Provide Quality Care To Patients.

  • Current Certification And Registration: Cnas Must Hold A Current Certification And Registration In Their State Of Practice To Be Eligible For Employment At Kindred Healthcare. This Ensures That They Have Met The Necessary Requirements And Are Qualified To Work As A Cna.

  • Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting: Kindred Healthcare Values Cnas With Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, As It Demonstrates Their Familiarity With Medical Terminology, Procedures, And The Ability To Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Cnas At Kindred Healthcare Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Kindred Healthcare Is A Fast-Paced Healthcare Environment, And Cnas Must Be Able To Work Efficiently And Effectively Under Pressure. They Should Be Able To Prioritize Tasks, Multi-Task, And Remain Calm In Emergency Situations.
