Job Description

  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in accordance with established standards and procedures.
  2. Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
  3. Monitor and report any changes in patient's physical or mental condition to the nursing staff.
  4. Help to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control and safety protocols.
  5. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  6. Administer medications as directed by the nursing staff.
  7. Document patient care and observations accurately and timely.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance and maintain CNA skills and knowledge.
  10. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards.
  11. Follow facility policies and procedures, including maintaining patient confidentiality.
  12. Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge process of patients.
  13. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  14. Respond to patient calls and requests promptly and courteously.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing staff or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Cna Training Program: A Prospective Cna At Kindred Healthcare Must Have Completed An Approved Cna Training Program, Which Typically Includes Classroom Instruction And Hands-On Clinical Experience.

  • Active Cna Certification: Kindred Healthcare Requires Cnas To Hold A Valid And Active Certification From Their State's Board Of Nursing. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Met All Necessary Training Requirements And Has Passed A Competency Evaluation.
