- Greet and welcome patients to the Cardio & Vascular department in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
- Prepare exam rooms for patient visits, ensuring they are clean and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Take and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.
- Perform EKGs and other diagnostic tests as directed by physicians.
- Assist physicians during procedures and treatments.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients on procedures, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
- Keep inventory of medical supplies and place orders as needed.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
- Provide support to front desk and administrative staff as needed.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and education opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and patient outcomes.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the healthcare field.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor or physician.

Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Credentials From An Accredited Program: The Candidate Should Possess A Current Cma Certification From An Accredited Institution, Ensuring A Strong Foundation In Medical Assisting Skills.
Knowledge Of Cardiovascular Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Cardiovascular Procedures, Including Ekgs, Stress Tests, And Holter Monitors. This Knowledge Is Essential For Providing Quality Care In A Cardio & Vascular Setting.
Experience In A Clinical Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Cardio & Vascular Department, Is Highly Desirable. This Experience Will Help The Candidate To Quickly Adapt To The Role And Perform Duties Efficiently.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Certified Medical Assistant In A Cardio & Vascular Department, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication Skills Are Essential For Effectively Relaying Information And Providing Quality Patient Care.
Ability To Multi-Task And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Candidate Should Possess The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment. This Skill Is Crucial For Maintaining A Smooth Workflow And Meeting The Demands Of A Busy Cardio & Vascular Department.
