  1. Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients with behavioral health needs.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Monitor and assess patients' mental and physical status, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  5. Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment plans, and medications.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  7. Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  8. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on best practices in psychiatric nursing.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
  10. Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
  11. Collaborate with community resources to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  13. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  14. Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  15. Remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced and ever-changing healthcare environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Behavioral Health Unit.

  • Current State Registered Nurse (Rn) License.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Basic Life Support (Bls) Certifications.

  • Strong Understanding Of Psychiatric Disorders And Experience In Crisis Intervention And De-Escalation Techniques.
