We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health Unit at Kindred Healthcare.   1. Provide high-quality care to patients with behavioral health needs in a compassionate and supportive manner.

  9. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in behavioral health care and incorporate into practice as appropriate.
  10. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards, maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
  11. Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards patients, promoting a positive and healing environment.
  12. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral health care.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical and professional standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Rn License: A Behavioral Health Unit Rn At Kindred Healthcare Must Possess A Current And Valid Registered Nurse License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing.

  • Bsn Degree Or Equivalent: A Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Rn Has A Strong Foundation In Nursing Principles And Evidence-Based Practice.

  • Previous Experience In Behavioral Health: Candidates For This Position Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Behavioral Health Unit Or A Related Setting. This Experience Will Help The Rn Understand The Unique Needs Of Patients In This Unit.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Being Able To Communicate Effectively And Build Strong Relationships Is Crucial For A Behavioral Health Unit Rn. This Role Involves Working Closely With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Teams.

  • Bls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification Is Required For This Position. This Certification Ensures That The Rn Is Trained In Life-Saving Techniques, Which May Be Necessary In Emergency Situations In The Behavioral Health Unit.
