We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Behavioral Health Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.   1. Conduct patient intake and assessment to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
  2. Monitor and document patient behavior and progress in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  3. Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients.
  4. Provide emotional support and crisis intervention to patients in distress.
  5. Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  6. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care for patients.
  7. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
  8. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
  9. Facilitate group therapy sessions and other therapeutic activities.
  10. Participate in staff meetings and trainings to stay updated on best practices and policies.
  11. Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  12. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment.
  13. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  14. Provide education and support to patients and families regarding mental health and treatment options.
  15. Assist in crisis management and de-escalation techniques when necessary.
  16. Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
  17. Comply with all facility policies and procedures.
  18. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth.
  19. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice.
  20. Demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate care to patients.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required.

  • At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Behavioral Health Setting Is Preferred.

  • Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Mental Health Disorders And Treatment Modalities.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Necessary To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.

  • Must Be Able To Handle Emotionally Charged And Stressful Situations With A Calm And Professional Demeanor.
