  1. Provide high-quality nursing care: The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse will be to deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the Acute Rehab Unit. This includes administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing wound care.
  2. Assess patient needs: The RN will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of patients upon admission and throughout their stay to ensure their individualized care plan meets their needs.
  3. Develop and implement care plans: The Registered Nurse will use their expertise to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient, incorporating medical, physical, and emotional needs.
  4. Monitor patient progress: The RN will closely monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: The Registered Nurse will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  6. Educate patients and families: The RN will provide education to patients and their families on their condition, treatment plan, and any necessary lifestyle changes to promote optimal health and recovery.
  7. Maintain accurate records: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
  8. Ensure safety and infection control: The RN will follow all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  9. Serve as a patient advocate: The Registered Nurse will advocate for patients' needs and rights, ensuring they receive the best possible care and treatment.
  10. Continuously improve nursing practices: The RN will stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in acute rehabilitation, and actively participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality of care provided.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn License In The State Of Employment.

  • Bls Certification.

  • Strong Assessment And Critical Thinking Skills.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In An Acute Care Setting, Preferably With Rehabilitation Experience.

  • Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
