Surgical Technologist

Kettering Health Network is looking for a motivated and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team! As a member of our Surgical Services department, you will be an integral part of providing quality care to patients and their families. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety. To be successful in this position, we require the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and operating rooms for surgical procedures, including setting up instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Assist surgeons in the operating room, passing instruments and equipment as needed.
• Monitor vital signs and other patient data, and alert medical staff to any changes.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the operating room.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Assist with patient transport and positioning.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
