
Sterile Processing Technician
Kettering Health Network is looking for an experienced, motivated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure patient safety in all areas of sterile processing.
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment in accordance with established safety standards.
- Inspect and prepare instruments and equipment for sterilization.
- Receive, store, and transport instruments and equipment in accordance with established safety protocols.
- Monitor and maintain sterile supply inventory levels.
- Clean and decontaminate instruments, equipment, and work areas in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain accurate records and document all activities related to sterile processing.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to sterile processing.
- Participate in ongoing training and educational activities to stay current on best practices in sterile processing.
