Responsibilities:

1. Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure patient safety in all areas of sterile processing.
2. Operate and maintain sterilization equipment in accordance with established safety standards.
3. Inspect and prepare instruments and equipment for sterilization.
4. Receive, store, and transport instruments and equipment in accordance with established safety protocols.
5. Monitor and maintain sterile supply inventory levels.
6. Clean and decontaminate instruments, equipment, and work areas in a timely manner.
7. Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
8. Maintain accurate records and document all activities related to sterile processing.
9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to sterile processing.
10. Participate in ongoing training and educational activities to stay current on best practices in sterile processing.
