Kettering Health Network is looking for an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic food enthusiast, a team player, and a culinary leader who is able to work collaboratively with chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure that all meals are prepared with the highest quality and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage kitchen staff to ensure quality and consistency of meals.
- Monitor and adjust food preparation processes to ensure quality and consistency of meals.
- Oversee ordering and inventory of food and supplies.
- Develop recipes and create innovative menus.
- Collaborate with chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared with the highest quality and consistency.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure they are following recipes and procedures.
- Monitor food costs and manage budget.
- Provide leadership and direction to kitchen staff.
