- Oversee and manage a team of respiratory therapists, ensuring they are providing high-quality care to patients.
- Mentor and train team members to improve their skills and knowledge in respiratory therapy.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve and maintain the overall quality of respiratory care within the organization.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members and provide feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to respiratory therapy.
- Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for new respiratory therapists.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss updates, issues, and improvements within the respiratory therapy department.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
- Serve as a resource and point of contact for staff and patients regarding respiratory care.
- Stay informed on current developments, advancements, and best practices in respiratory therapy.
- Act as a role model for professionalism and exceptional patient care.
- Assist with budget planning and management for the respiratory therapy department.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.

Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or A Related Field.
Current License As A Respiratory Therapist In The State Of Ohio.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience As A Respiratory Therapist, With At Least 1 Year In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.
Advanced Certification Such As Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) Or Certified Respiratory Therapist (Crt).
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Respiratory Therapists.
