  1. Oversee and manage a team of respiratory therapists, ensuring they are providing high-quality care to patients.
  2. Mentor and train team members to improve their skills and knowledge in respiratory therapy.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve and maintain the overall quality of respiratory care within the organization.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members and provide feedback for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to respiratory therapy.
  7. Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for new respiratory therapists.
  8. Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss updates, issues, and improvements within the respiratory therapy department.
  9. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
  10. Serve as a resource and point of contact for staff and patients regarding respiratory care.

  13. Assist with budget planning and management for the respiratory therapy department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or A Related Field.

  • Current License As A Respiratory Therapist In The State Of Ohio.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience As A Respiratory Therapist, With At Least 1 Year In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.

  • Advanced Certification Such As Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) Or Certified Respiratory Therapist (Crt).

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Respiratory Therapists.
