  1. Accurately code and bill for all healthcare services provided by Kettering Health Network.
  2. Ensure compliance with all coding guidelines and regulations.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to obtain necessary documentation and resolve coding issues.
  4. Review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services.
  5. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding coding and billing processes and requirements.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, regulations, and industry changes.
  7. Utilize electronic health records and coding software to accurately assign codes.

  17. Represent Kettering Health Network in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
  18. Attend meetings and participate in discussions related to coding and billing.
  19. Assist with any other coding or billing related tasks as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Coding Specialist (Ccs) Or Certified Professional Coder (Cpc) Certification From An Accredited Organization Such As Ahima Or Aapc.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Coding For A Healthcare Organization.

  • Proficiency In Icd-10-Cm, Cpt, And Hcpcs Coding Systems.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems And Coding Software.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance, Including Hipaa And Cms Guidelines.
