Job Description

Kettering Health Network is seeking a passionate and driven Rehab Aide to join our Rehabilitation Services team. The Rehab Aide will be responsible for providing support to our rehabilitation team to promote patient care and treatment. We are looking for a candidate who is committed to delivering quality patient care and has a positive attitude.The ideal candidate must possess a high school diploma or GED. Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred. The Rehab Aide must also have a valid driver’s license and CPR certification. The successful candidate should be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Additionally, this individual should have strong organizational skills and be able to multitask.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the rehabilitation team in providing quality patient care and treatment.
  2. Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service to patients.
  3. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  4. Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
  5. Provide assistance to therapists during patient treatment activities.
  6. Prepare treatment rooms for therapy sessions, set-up and take down equipment and materials needed for patient care.
  7. Assist in the collection of patient data and update patient records as needed.
  8. Assist with patient transfers and ambulation when needed.
  9. Monitor and document patient progress and provide feedback to therapists.
  10. Perform clerical duties as assigned, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
