
Registered Nurse - Main Acute Medical and Oncology

- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including cancer.
- Utilize strong clinical knowledge and skills to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills.
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Serve as a patient advocate and ensure that patient rights and needs are met.
- Act as a role model for other nursing staff by demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and excellence in patient care.
Current And Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Ohio.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher Education In A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Acute Care Medical And Oncology Nursing.
Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls).
Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge In Medical And Oncology Care, Including Chemotherapy Administration And Management Of Complex Medical Conditions.
