We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Delivery Room.   1. Provide exceptional and compassionate care to patients and their families during the labor and delivery process.
  2. Monitor the mother and baby's vital signs and assess for any signs of distress or complications.
  3. Administer medications and assist with pain management as needed.
  4. Prepare and assist with various techniques and positions for labor and delivery, including natural birth and cesarean sections.
  5. Educate and support patients and their families on postpartum care and breastfeeding.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for the mother and baby.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  9. Continuously stay updated on current best practices and procedures in maternal and newborn care.
  10. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during a potentially stressful and emotional time.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, as well as other healthcare professionals.
  12. Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.
  15. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  16. Attend trainings and educational opportunities to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Ohio

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Nursing Program

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Labor And Delivery Or Maternity Nursing

  • Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Nrp) Certifications
