Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

1. Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the Cath Lab department.
2. Perform and assist with various procedures and treatments in the Cath Lab, including but not limited to cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements.
3. Monitor and assess patients' conditions before, during, and after procedures, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the physician.
4. Administer medications and intravenous therapy as ordered by the physician.
5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
6. Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and post-procedure care.
7. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including documentation of procedures, medications, and vital signs.
8. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.
10. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing education opportunities.
11. Communicate effectively and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
