Job Description

Kettering Health Network is looking for an experienced Radiology Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated professional with excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong technical background in radiologic technology. Our ideal candidate will be a compassionate, patient-centered care provider, who is committed to providing the highest quality of care.The successful candidate will have at least an Associate degree in radiologic technology, and be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in various radiologic imaging techniques, radiation safety, and radiation protection principles. The candidate should also be well-versed in current procedures and protocols for imaging and patient care, as well as the latest technology used in the field.We are looking for someone who is a team player and can maintain professional relationships with colleagues, patients, and other health care providers. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to multi-task and prioritize, and be solutions-oriented. Responsibilities:

  1. Adhere to safety and radiation protection guidelines and protocols.
  2. Follow established procedures for imaging and patient care.
  3. Perform radiologic imaging techniques such as x-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
  4. Maintain patient comfort and safety while performing imaging procedures.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
  6. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of imaging results.
  7. Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide technical support.
  8. Demonstrate knowledge of current technology used in the field.
  9. Monitor inventory of supplies and order additional supplies as needed.
  10. Participate in training and continuing education programs related to radiologic technology.
