Job Description

Kettering Health Network is seeking an experienced Radiology Technician to join our team of highly trained medical professionals. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for helping others. The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's degree or higher in Radiology Technology, along with an active certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). They will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, as well as providing quality patient care. Responsibilities for this position include:

• Performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT, ultrasound and MRI imaging.

• Maintaining and operating radiology equipment to ensure proper functioning.

• Preparing patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and draping.

• Reviewing patient medical histories and preparing appropriate documentation.

• Ensuring patient safety by following established protocols and procedures.

• Providing quality patient care, including answering questions and providing comfort and support.

• Assisting radiologists with imaging interpretation and analysis.

• Staying up-to-date on new advances in radiology technology and techniques.

• Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations.

• Maintaining records of all procedures and patient information.
