  1. Operate and maintain various medical imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT scan, MRI, and ultrasound machines.
  2. Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  3. Position patients correctly and accurately for imaging procedures.
  4. Adjust and control imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images.
  5. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile working environment.
  6. Assess images for quality and accuracy, and communicate any issues to the appropriate medical personnel.
  7. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  8. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  9. Keep current with advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
  10. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with patients and their families.
  11. Provide excellent customer service and address any patient concerns or questions.
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
  13. Participate in continuing education and training programs to maintain licensure and certifications.
  14. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report any issues to the appropriate department.
  15. Maintain inventory and order necessary supplies for the radiology department.
  16. Assist in the training and mentoring of new radiology technicians.
  17. Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  18. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and department efficiency.
  19. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Team-Oriented Environment.

  • Current Certification And Registration As A Radiologic Technologist By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Radiology Tech, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Radiology Equipment And Procedures, Including Digital Imaging, Fluoroscopy, And Contrast Studies.
