Job Description

Kettering Health Network is looking for a motivated and experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team and provide the highest quality care to our patients. Our Radiation Therapist must have a compassionate and caring demeanor, as well as the technical expertise to deliver radiation treatments in a safe and effective manner. The ideal candidate should possess an Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy, have successfully completed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy, and have at least 1-2 years of experience in an acute care setting. If you are an experienced Radiation Therapist with a passion for providing excellent patient care, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities of a Radiation Therapist:

• Administer radiation treatments to patients in accordance with established protocols and regulations

• Monitor patient response to treatments and adjust treatment plans accordingly

• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the treatment process

• Ensure radiation safety standards are met

• Monitor and evaluate equipment performance

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities

• Maintain accurate patient records

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
