
Pharmacy Technician
Kettering Health Network is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a strong aptitude for multitasking and problem-solving, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. The Pharmacy Technician must have a current Pharmacy Technician certificate or license and must possess a thorough understanding of pharmacy terminology, drug classes, and pharmaceutical calculations. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with the orders of physicians and other authorized prescribers.
- Read and interpret prescriptions to determine appropriate dosage, route of administration, and other pertinent information.
- Maintain accuracy in recordkeeping, including prescription data, patient profiles, and inventory control.
- Monitor and report any potentially dangerous drug interactions or allergic reactions to the pharmacist.
- Assist customers with questions and provide educational information as needed.
- Follow all safety and health regulations and guidelines as outlined by the pharmacy.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest medications and industry trends.
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations involving pharmacy practice.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Excellent Communication Skills
High School Diploma Or Equivalent
Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) License
Demonstrated Customer Service Experience
