  1. Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescription orders.
  2. Conduct patient consultations to ensure safe and effective use of medications.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop appropriate medication treatment plans for patients.
  4. Monitor medication therapy for efficacy and potential adverse effects.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient medication records.
  6. Educate patients on proper medication use, storage, and potential side effects.
  7. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practice.
  8. Oversee the inventory and ordering of medications and supplies.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in implementing new processes and procedures.
  10. Stay current on new medications, treatments, and developments in the field of pharmacy.
  11. Provide guidance and support to pharmacy technicians and other staff members.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  14. Collaborate with insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
  15. Adhere to ethical and professional standards set forth by the pharmacy and Kettering Health Network.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy: A Pharmacist At Kettering Health Network Must Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy From An Accredited Institution. This Provides The Necessary Education And Knowledge In Pharmaceuticals And Patient Care.

  • Current State License: A Valid And Current State License To Practice As A Pharmacist Is Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met All The Legal Requirements And Is Authorized To Dispense Medication.
