  1. Conduct regular reviews of payroll tax processes and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  2. Monitor changes in payroll tax laws and regulations and communicate updates to the payroll team.
  3. Prepare and file required payroll tax reports and remittances accurately and in a timely manner.
  4. Reconcile payroll tax accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address any payroll tax compliance issues.
  6. Analyze payroll data to identify potential errors or discrepancies and take appropriate corrective actions.
  7. Assist with payroll tax audits and respond to related inquiries.
  8. Provide training and support to payroll team members on payroll tax compliance matters.
  9. Develop and maintain documentation of payroll tax processes and procedures.
  10. Stay informed about industry best practices and make recommendations for process improvements.
  11. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all payroll tax-related systems.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and employee information.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments.
  14. Participate in special projects as assigned by management.
