  1. Safely transport patients to and from various areas of the facility, including but not limited to patient rooms, diagnostic areas, and treatment rooms.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  3. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient transport activities.
  4. Communicate with nursing and medical staff to coordinate patient transport needs.
  5. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols while transporting patients.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport equipment and vehicles.
  7. Assist in the movement of medical equipment and supplies as needed.
  8. Demonstrate sensitivity and professionalism when interacting with patients from diverse backgrounds and varying physical abilities.
  9. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  10. Attend and actively participate in training and educational sessions to maintain and improve patient transport skills.
  11. Remain current on all hospital policies and procedures related to patient transport.
  12. Handle any patient transport emergencies in a calm and efficient manner.
  13. Proactively identify and report any issues or concerns related to patient transport to superiors.
  14. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  15. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
