  1. Accurately review and analyze patient accounts to ensure proper billing and coding procedures are followed.
  2. Communicate with insurance companies and patients to resolve any billing discrepancies or denials.
  3. Utilize comprehensive knowledge of medical billing and coding regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  4. Work closely with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure timely and accurate submission of claims.
  5. Maintain detailed and organized records of patient accounts and billing activities.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service to patients by addressing inquiries and concerns regarding their accounts.
  7. Collaborate with other departments within the organization to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  8. Keep up-to-date with changes in healthcare regulations and insurance policies to ensure compliance.
  9. Identify and report any potential issues or errors in billing processes to the appropriate parties for resolution.
  10. Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and protect patient information at all times.
  11. Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to medical billing and coding.
  12. Continuously strive to meet or exceed productivity and accuracy targets set by the organization.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the organization to patients and insurance companies.
  14. Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Patient Accounts Or Revenue Cycle Management.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Billing And Coding Procedures, Including Icd-10 And Cpt Coding.

  • Proficiency In Using Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems And Other Healthcare Software.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Insurance Companies, And Healthcare Providers.
