Job Description

Kettering Health Network is seeking an experienced and driven Patient Access Team Lead to join our team. Our ideal candidate should be a natural leader and have a proven track record of successfully managing a team. To be successful in this role, the Patient Access Team Lead should have a strong understanding of patient access services and best practices, and be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.The Patient Access Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of patient access representatives, ensuring that all processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner. The team lead will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to their team, as well as ensuring the team is meeting quality and performance expectations.The successful candidate will possess:• A minimum of two years of previous experience in a patient access or customer service role• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team• Knowledge of patient access service processes and best practices• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail• A commitment to providing high-quality customer serviceIf you are an experienced leader looking for an opportunity to make an impact in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. Responsibilites for Patient Access Team Lead:

  1. Oversee and manage a team of patient access representatives, ensuring all processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  2. Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure performance expectations are met.
  3. Monitor and evaluate team performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
  4. Ensure the team is adhering to patient access services processes and best practices.
  5. Demonstrate strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
  6. Maintain organization and attention to detail when managing patient access processes.
  7. Analyze patient access processes and recommend changes to enhance customer experience.
  8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and growth within the team.
  9. Collaborate with other departments on projects and initiatives that improve patient access services.
  10. Remain up to date on all relevant policies and regulations.
