- Collect and verify patient information and ensure accuracy in electronic medical records.
- Schedule appointments and procedures for patients, coordinating with other departments as needed.
- Explain hospital policies and procedures to patients and answer any questions they may have.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic support to patients and their families during the intake process.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for procedures.
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.

Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Patient Access Representative For Surgical Oncology At Kettering Health Network Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Be Able To Accurately Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
