- Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal issues related to healthcare, including but not limited to medical malpractice, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Work closely with attorneys in the Legal Department to draft legal documents, such as contracts, policies, and procedures, and ensure they are in line with applicable laws and regulations.
- Review and monitor contracts and agreements entered into by the medical group to ensure legal compliance and mitigate any potential risks.
- Maintain accurate and organized legal files and databases for the medical group.
- Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, such as subpoenas, court filings, and responses to legal inquiries.
- Collaborate with other departments within the medical group to ensure legal compliance and provide guidance on legal matters.
- Stay informed of changes in laws and regulations related to healthcare and communicate any updates or changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in managing and responding to legal claims and disputes.
- Provide support and assistance in the preparation of legal presentations and training materials for internal staff.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information and documents.
